CONTRACTION is being created by a small international team brought together by a love of cinema, science and stories that make us think.
Ukrainian creators Volodymyr and Oksana Khandoha are working on the film alongside South Korean writer Young Joo Yoo (Grace YOU). Andrii Demianenko also contributes to the project. Yurii Trembetskii and Vasyl Rudan are shaping its sound, with support from Volodymyr Khandoha.
We want to create more than spectacular science fiction: a film that stays with viewers after the final credits. A story about people, their feelings, difficult decisions and a future we often take for granted.
For us, contemporary technology makes it possible to tell a story that would once have been extraordinarily difficult for an independent team to bring to life.
